You’ll follow an incredible route which takes in snow-capped peaks, mountain passes, rocky lake shores and the spectacular scenery of the Continental Divide. Twist your way through the river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains, and enjoy views of Canada’s highest peak – Mount Robson. You’ll also pass the stunning Pyramid Falls and climb over Yellowhead Pass. Look out for incredible wildlife too, from elk to grizzly bears, seen at all angles from the glass-domed carriages.
Sit back in comfort and watch Western Canada’s most dramatic landscapes unfold before you – all enjoyed in the company of your like-minded travel companions. Stay overnight in a hotel in Kamloops, then continue your rail adventure as you set off towards the Pacific Ocean along the Fraser River, a popular fishing ground for grizzly bears, to the beautiful coastal city of Vancouver.
Travelling on Rocky Mountaineer is as much about the culinary experience and outstanding service as it is about the stunning scenery.
Indulge in fine dining courtesy of award-winning chefs using the finest, locally sourced ingredients from the Pacific Northwest. Enjoy connecting with your fellow travellers over delicious food and wine inspired by the very region that the train is passing through. Think maple-cured, coho salmon, sea salt-flecked Fraser Valley chicken or braised Alberta beef short ribs, all complemented by award-winning wines from British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley and refreshing local craft beers.

Just You customers often ask what the material differences are between SilverLeaf Service and GoldLeaf Service, and the best thing is that master storytellers, comfortable seating, fantastic quality of food and fabulous views are offered as standard, there's just some little bells and whistles that add that little bit extra to your rail experience...
Throughout the seasons there is always something new to discover on your Rocky Mountaineer experience.
In April and May, as winter releases its grip, the wilderness comes to life, as streams and waterfalls swell, bears come out from hibernation, and flowers start to bloom.
In September, the Rockies are graced in their autumnal glory with astonishingly vibrant golden and red foliage, this snow-dusted mountain peaks and animals foraging in the wild. This is the best time to catch a glimpse of bears near the rivers, a key time for the annual salmon run.
And the best part about travelling in spring and autumn with Just You is you get to enjoy the best of nature, without the crowds - we couldn't think of anything more idyllic.
